Is it really true dry skin cause acne to appear on your face? Or is it because your dry skin actually produces more excess oil because it is too dry? Understand this. What is dry skin? Dry skin is skin that doesn’t have enough moisture in it to keep it feeling soft. Dry skin feels like rough patches of your skin that can flake or look scaly. What other things you can do to transform your dry skin into normal skin? Always apply toner as it will help balance your skin’s pH levels. Consume supplements as they will help treat your inner body to balance your skin’s pH levels too. Normal skin is the goal and remember hydrating is the key.

Hormone imbalance causes acne is hormonal acne and which occurs when a person’s hormone level fluctuates. Fluctuations of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone can cause zits and pimples to pop up. Typically, these fluctuations happen mostly during menstruation cycles, pregnancy, and menopause. During these times of increased hormones, the body produces more sebum, an oily, waxy substance. This then leads to inflammation, changes in skin cell activity, and colonization of bacteria in hair follicles. With this combination, acne starts to appear. Medications, antibiotics, specific foods, depression, anxiety, stress, and other mentally triggering elements can cause hormonal acne as well. Hormonal acne, also known as adult acne, affects adults between the ages of 20 and 50. Acne causes bumps on your face, shoulders, chest, and back in the following forms: Pimples. Blackheads. Birth control (oral contraceptives). Change in diet. Laser or light therapy. Take supplements. How can I reduce my risk of hormonal acne? Make lifestyle changes to reduce stress, get better sleep and eat a healthy diet. Use skincare products that won’t clog pores. Choosing the right skincare products for oily skin is crucial. Especially when it comes to choosing either cleansing water or cleansing oil. I too once experienced having oily skin so I really understand the struggles of choosing the right products so we do not tend to have acne. We always struggle with acne popping out. I have tried also using both cleansing oil and cleansing water so I would love to share with you my experience. I have tried green tea cleansing oil from Innisfree. They recommended me the full set of green tea skincare lines for my skin condition. This was years ago when I still have oily skin. I really love how it cleanses my skin but it doesn’t remove my excess oil. My face was still shiny and oily. I used it until it finished but didn’t result in any changes in my skin’s pH levels. Since it doesn’t result how I want it, I moved on to other brands. After a while, I went back to Innisfree and this time they recommended I try the cleansing water but also green tea lines. This time, the magic happened! It suits my skin. Suits my oily skin and reduces my excess oil and my skin is no more shiny but only glowy naturally. But at the same time, I was consuming supplements that help balanced back my skin’s pH levels. So I guessed the combination of these two works wonders for my skin. Why is cleansing oily not suitable for oily skin? You should avoid any oils in your skincare routine More oils can clog your pores Clogged pores can lead to acne and other skin conditions Cleaning oil vs cleansing water Take from my experience, you should go for cleansing water Go for hydration cleansing water The more you hydrate your skin, the better for your skin Pro Tip: Take supplements to help boost skin hydration and balanced back your skin’s pH level at the same time. Remember, the goal is to get normal skin. Try this way and see how it works on you as it has helped me free from having oily skin. Don’t forget to comment down below if my tips have helped you. In cell culture, ingesting marine collagen increases collagen synthesis and helps incorporate minerals into the bone matrix. In addition, marine collagen supplementation significantly increases the size and mineral density of femur bones. Collagen supplements may help improve protein intake and body composition. When the number of illnesses and diseases rises, we become more caring about our body and how it works especially the immune system. Everyone is born with innate (or natural) immunity, a type of general protection. Your immune system is a large network of organs, white blood cells, proteins (antibodies), and chemicals. This system works together to protect you from foreign invaders (bacteria, viruses, parasites, and fungi) that cause infection, illness, and disease. How does the immune system work? When the body senses foreign substances (called antigens), the immune system works to recognize the antigens and get rid of them. B lymphocytes are triggered to make antibodies (also called immunoglobulins). These proteins lock onto specific antigens. After they’re made, antibodies usually stay in our bodies in case we have to fight the same germ again. That’s why someone who gets sick with a disease, like chickenpox, usually won’t get sick from it again. Humans have three types of immunity: Innate immunity: Everyone is born with innate (or natural) immunity, a type of general protection. For example, the skin acts as a barrier to block germs from entering the body. And the immune system recognizes when certain invaders are foreign and could be dangerous. Adaptive immunity: Adaptive (or active) immunity develops throughout our lives. We develop adaptive immunity when we’re exposed to diseases or when we’re immunized against them with vaccines. Passive immunity: Passive immunity is “borrowed” from another source and it lasts for a short time. For example, antibodies in a mother’s breast milk give a baby temporary immunity to diseases to which the mother has been exposed. How to naturally boost the immune system: Having a healthy lifestyle can help the body’s natural defenses and benefit overall health: not smoking exercising avoiding excess alcohol consumption, for those who drink washing the hands frequently managing stress well keeping up to date with recommended vaccines having a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables having a moderate weight getting at least 7 hours of sleep in every 24-hour period Ways to boost your immune system: Take vaccines Maintain a healthy diet Exercise Hydrate Enough sleep Take supplement Various vitamins and minerals often referred to as “micronutrients,” are necessary for a healthy immune system. The main micronutrients that play a role in the immune response include: vitamin A vitamin C vitamin D vitamin E vitamin B6 vitamin B12 folate zinc iron copper Ideally, we would all obtain optimal amounts of these micronutrients through a well-balanced diet — but this can be difficult to achieve and many people worldwide have nutrient deficiencies. That’s why we recommend taking supplements as they will add more nutrients that your body needs and help boost your immune system. The supplement is beneficial to the immune system, as long as dosages stay below the recommended safety limits. High dosages can cause diarrhea, abdominal pain, and nausea.
